Casey Gerald has witnessed every facet of the American Dream–from his harrowing childhood in Texas, to his tenure at the heights of America’s elite institutions, to his journeys through the American heartland where he has spent his recent years as cofounder and CEO of MBAs Across America. Casey’s work and message recently led Italian Vogue to say, “The 29-year old writer just might be the voice of his generation, the answer to a hyperkinetic era.”
He began his career in economic policy innovation at the Center for American Progress and has worked as a strategist with social ventures such as The Future Project as well as companies like The Neiman Marcus Group. Casey is a graduate of Yale and Harvard Business School, where he delivered a commencement speech that brought him to national prominence. He has since been the closing speaker at TED and opened for President Barack Obama at SXSW.
Casey has been featured on MSNBC, in The New York Times and appeared on the cover of Fast Company, which named him one of the “Most Creative People in Business.” He is currently writing a memoir, There Will Be No Miracles Here, to be published by Riverhead Books.
