Maria Shriver is a mother of four, Emmy and Peabody award-winning journalist and producer, New York Times best-selling author and NBC News Special Anchor. She is also founder of Shriver Media—a socially-conscious media company creating media as a force for good—as well as the non-profit, A Woman’s Nation, which works on behalf of women and their families living paycheck to paycheck and those fighting on the front lines of the Alzheimer’s epidemic. She created The Shriver Report and Shriver Report Snapshot to report on seismic shifts in American culture and society.
As a leading activist for social change, those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and the people that care for them, gender equality, the intellectually disabled and the working poor, Shriver believes we all have the ability to create positive change and that business and media can be used to inform, inspire and ignite the world. She uses her voice to highlight Architects of Change—people who are challenging what is, imagining what can be and moving humanity forward.”
Shriver is the former First Lady of California and a graduate of Georgetown University.
